Jeff Moore is a photographer/writer out of Livingston, Montana who loves everything in the outdoors—hunting, fishing, sporting dogs, wildlife and landscapes. He also comes indoors from time to time to photograph products and food. His work has appeared in Ducks Unlimited, The Retriever Journal, Gray’s Sporting Journal,Garden & Gun, Field & Stream, California Waterfowl, North American Elk, Shooting Sportsman and Montana Outdoors. His client list includes Filson, Stetson, Marlboro, Duck Camp, Duxbak, Copenhagen,Skoal, Red Seal Chewing tobacco, Ren Ferguson Guitars, and Arken Optics
In 2022, Jeff made Audubon’s Top 100 List with a unique photo of a swan.
In 2019, a shot for Filson depicting two Arkansas hunters in flooded timber was honored by the Outdoor Writers Association of America with a 1st Place Excellence in Craft award.
In 2016, his shot of a retriever dragging a goose was selected in the Communication Arts Photo Annual. In 2018 and again in 2019, he was selected in the Annual with unique shots of Canada geese in flight.
In 2018, Jeff's photo exhibition Eagles: Kings of the Sky was displayed at The Dickson Mounds Illinois State Museum in Lewistown, IL.
Sotheby’s used his photos in 2014 to sell one of its most expensive decoys ever.
In 2006, his work was honored as Best In Show by Illinois Outdoors Magazine. In 2009, Jeff’s picture of an Eider Decoy was chosen as the cover of Robert Shaw’s book Bird Decoys of North America and in 2023, he did all the photography for Ron Gard’s book Who’s Dog are You? about antique dog collars.
